A mostly lost Soviet Union stop-motion version of this classic fairytale. The only surviving scene is called Bazaar.

A self-loving and arrogant priest, strolling through the market square, is looking for a "cook, stable boy and carpenter" who would work for him diligently and a lot, and take only a little money for it. He meets a brave young man, Balda, who is hired as a servant by the popes for a purely symbolic payment - "a year for three cheeks on the forehead". Soon the Pope will have to learn the power of Balda's slap.

Adaptation of Pushkin's fairy tales. The tale is about a fisherman who manages to catch a Golden Fish which promises to fulfill any wish of his in exchange for its freedom. The storyline is similar to the Russian fairy tale "The Greedy Old Wife" and the Brothers Grimm's tale "The Fisherman and His Wife".

XIII century. The villain seized power in the Murom principality. Only the brave warrior Peter goes out to fight the villain and defeats him. A simple-minded Ukrainian worker Levko inherits his uncle's flourishing mill business. The sudden and unexpected fortune consequently reveals Levko's furious crave for money. He starts with laying hands on the tavern of the missing Jew Yankel, who was snatched for cupidity by the devil Khapun. In the blink of an eye Levko becomes a village usurer, he fuddles peasants, he dilutes horilka, he wants and squeezes money from everyone. But the unruly desire to be rich leads to a complete loss of compassion, friends, and love. And the main question is how the hero's ordeals will end - will the real feelings triumph or will the greed prevail.
